Why wont he understand?

Like I had said before things would be so much easier when it came to redecorating my house if my husband didnt insist on getting his lodge furniture and his sports memorabilia for his den. We have been slpwly working from room to room and instead of starting with the living room my hubby has taken over the den and has been concentrating on turning that area into his dream area.

I on the other hand would like to concentrate more on the areas that recieve the most traffic such as the living room and the kitchen.I guess every man wants his own personal space where they can relax after work. I think sometimes I am being selfish but really right now I think he is being the selfish one when he is concentrating more on his personal space than getting an area where all of us can enjoy done. Am I being unreasonable?

We have been remodeling the house little by little. My husband wants a corner tv stand for his t.v that he has in his den. I think it will take too much space but he insists on getting one. I on the other hand am trying to de clutter his area. I am tired of having all his stuff in the den.

Somehow the den went from being a kids room to being his personal mancave where he watches his games. I am slowly going to start putting the kids stuff back in there and they are going to have to share the space. I want to redecorate the whole house and make it beautiful.

If only I had lots of money to do it quicker than the way we have been doing it.

It’s easier if they tell me what they want

My sons have been asking me fro those flying helicopters that you can take out to a field and fly. I kept wonderign what they were talking about and my son showed my the helicopter with the rc remote that he wants and I am hoping I can save money to buy it for him. I think he is old enough and responsible enough to get it as a birthday present.

I often wonder what to get them but now that the boys are older and able to tell me what they want it makes shopping so much easier. I have 4 boys to shop for and sometimes it isnt easy. The good thing is that I have two boys that are twins and I just get them the same thing the older boys are somewhat harder to buy for but I am gettign better. I just hand them my computer and have them look for what they want. How do you do your shopping for your children ?

I just hope they will stay safe

We spent the day at the park letting the kids run around to burn some of the energy they have. While we were at the park there were a bunch of motorcycle riders having a picnic. My boys fell in love with their motorcycles and were asking all kinds of questions. Thank goodness that the riders were so patient with my kids and even let them sit on their motorcycle seats. Now all my boys keep telling me that when they grow up they are going to have a motorcycle like the guys at the park.

I got to admit that their motorcycles were nice. I love the gear that they wear and I love the different colors of the bikes the guys had there. I just hope that by the time my kids are old enough to buy themselves a bike they drive responsibily so I wont be worried all the time.

I have been gettign sick a lot lately. I have given some thought on having a physical and getting everything checked out. I am lucky that I have insurance. I have many friends who don’t have insurance and have to pay everything out of pocket.

My friend who currently lives in Wahington D.C had to look up lipid profile washington dc for some lab tests and was telling me that is usually what she has to do when she needs medical care.

I never realize how lucky I am to have insurance til I have someone remind me how blessed I am. I can only imagine how high my bills would be if my whole family didn’t have insurance.

I enjoy watching my kids play

I don’t know if I told you guys we bought the kids a swingset. The twins of course have had a blast swinging in the swings. I love going outside and sitting on my lawn chair and watching them play. Luckily my husband cut the grass before the swingset was set up.

I told my hubby that he is lucky that he has an electric lawn mower instead of a push reel mower He would have to work much harder if he had a push reel mower. I love having my grass cut and looking nice.

My kids are going to have a great summer and I am glad that we are slowly fixing up our house.There is nothing more satisfying than seeing everything fall into place.

I want to go to school and learn a trade

We have had to repair our car and house recently.Seeing how much the house and car cost makes me wish I went to school to learn how to do house and car repairs. In less than a month we spent over 3,000 dollars to get the things we needed.

I was reading up on repairs and read about a hydraulic cartridge and I wondered what that part could be used for? I thought it sounded like a car part but it might have been for a house. If I would have went to a trade school I bet I would have known what it was.

I really need to think about going to a trade school and looking into getting a career in whatever field I choose to pursue.

I am beyond proud of my kids

My child is getting at that age where she can start applying for a job. She has told me many times that she dont mind looking into burger king jobs if that is where she needs to start at.

I will be proud of any honorable job she gets. I have always been proud of my children and seeing them grow into responsible young adults makes me smile big knowing that I did a good job raising them. I am hoping my child goes to college and goes very far in life. You bet I will be cheering them all the way.

The other day I was online when I saw a click here ad for some great new energy retailers in my area. I’d actually never seen anything like that because not originally being from Texas I had no idea what deregulated energy was…I was used to living in states where you didn’t have any choice when it came to who you bought your energy from. But anyway, I found a provider who was cheaper than my current one and made a switch and that’s got me thinking, what else can I save money on here at my house? I feel like I’m constantly writing checks between the cable and the trash and the lawn guys and maybe I should be doing some of this myself so as not to bleed myself dry. It’s already expensive enough having to pay a mortgage, I don’t know why in the world I would waste so much time worrying about how much I’m spending on all my other utilities! I think I need to do some more research.

I need to get back in shape

The hubby and I are starting to get back into fitness. I am lucky enough that the hubby doesn’t need any help from supplements such as progene to be healthy and fit. The excercise that he does has been sufficient enough for him. I on the other hand need more help.

I have to constantly watch what I eat and I have to excercise at least 4 times a week to see any improvement. I wish my body had a faster metabolism than it does. Why is it that guys lose weight faster than girls? I always say that guys have it easy when it comes to losing weight.

I am going to start my morning walks and hopefully that helps me lose 20 pounds.
